Zetech University has significantly enhanced its academic and research ecosystem through expanded access to world-class scholarly resources from Taylor & Francis, facilitated by the Kenya Libraries and Information Services Consortium (KLISC).
Through this collaboration, students and faculty can now seamlessly access, utilise, and integrate over 10,000 eBooks alongside a rich collection of peer-reviewed journals into teaching, learning, and research.
This expanded access will deepen the practical use of scholarly materials while empowering faculty to embed high-quality academic content into the curriculum.
Beyond access, the partnership strengthens institutional research capacity by fostering a culture of inquiry, critical thinking, and evidence-based learning. It positions both students and academic staff to actively engage with contemporary global knowledge and contribute meaningfully to their respective fields.
The engagement with Taylor & Francis through Open Access publishing of books, chapters, and journal articles will create structured pathways for knowledge production and dissemination while encouraging broader adoption of Open Access models. It will also enable researchers to enhance the visibility, accessibility, and global impact of their work, supporting greater participation in international academic discourse.
This comes as the University prepares for its 8th Research and Innovation Week, highlighting its commitment to advancing research, showcasing scholarly work, and fostering global knowledge exchange.
