Varsity Exhibits An Inclusive Photography Workshop
The University conducted a successful photography workshop sessions in collaborations with the World’s best renowned Canon Company in the previous week at the Thika road Campus.
With the most creative and renowned photographer Mr. Rich Allela on the lead, the successful event attracted students who expressed their interest in photography as they had an interactive training session with free portrait camera operations and taking images on both still and moving objects.
Mr. Allela while training the students, challenged the students to always consider creativity while taking photos being the job market which is well acquitted with innovation requires extraordinarily photos which are all-inclusive are giving well detailed information of every purpose of the photos.
Packed with more fun activities that were all-inclusive, the entertainment crew of an acrobatic group and the Zetech university dance crew also did their best in showing off their moves which formed the basis of taking action photos while performing.
Supporting the move, Mr. Roy Khaemba, the Head of Department Media Arts and Design thanked the Canon Company of the thoughtful idea of making the photo world real within the doorsteps at the University. “Special thanks to Mr. Allela as he outshines in the photographic world and being thoughtful to mentor our students while challenging them that passion is the engine to everything,” said Mr. Khaemba.
Giftings
Coiled with a lot of competitions and awarding the participants, the Canon Crew gifted most students awarding them with “branded Canon” carrier bags, t-shirts and caps.
With Vascolus Mutembei, a Media Arts Design student who received a lead gift from Mr. Allela,” The photography workshop was an amazing experience in learning camera settings, especially on shutter control. Meeting Rich and taking some photos with him was the best experience as l aspires to be a world photojournalist. Many thanks to the University for the Opportunity”
