Varsity Updates Student Management System

In a bid to improve services, Zetech University has invested in a new Student Management System designed to efficiently handle data. Implemented at the close of 2019 by a seasoned software development company in the country, the management tool will empower the office of the Registrar to effectively document, review and maintain records.

“We have adopted this new system to build on our management of student records in a secure and efficient way. This is one of our ventures in boosting customer satisfaction and improving delivery of service,” said Dr. Alice Njuguna, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academics, Research, Extension and Student Affairs. She noted that the new trainees have already been absorbed in the system.

To ensure the whole student population is covered, ongoing students will be expected to report to the departmental administration offices upon reporting at various campuses; thereafter, they can proceed to complete other expected processes such as making fee payments for the and receiving timetables for the January 2020 semester.

Commenting on the shift, Peter Osumba, Registrar Academic at the University noted that student details have already been migrated and it will only take a short time for the students to be activated, once they begin reporting on 13th January.
