Zetech University plays host to Industrialization CAS
The University was privileged to host Honourable Lawrence Karanja, Chief Administrative Secretary, Ministry of Industrialization, Trade and Enterprise Development at the main campus when he paid a courtesy call to Vice Chancellor Prof. Njenga Munene.
Hon Karanja took time to chat with the VC, accompanied by Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academics, Research, Extension and Student Affairs Dr. Alice Njuguna, on possible partnership opportunities around development and industry. Indeed, support from local and national government plays a key role in the quality education and campus experience provided to students in the best universities in Kenya.
The engaging session was a great platform for the University leadership team to share the University’s efforts to reach out to collaborators in the private and public sector to ensure the Zetech experience is enriched and beneficial to students, faculty and partners. The team highlighted recent collaborations including an MOU signed with the African centre for women in ICT (ACWICT) that will see thousands of students trained on employability and entrepreneurship to read them for a competitive professional world.
As Zetech continues to build valuable partnerships in Kenya and beyond, students who have made applications to pursue degrees, diploma and certificate programmes, are encouraged to participate in activities beyond the class to equip them with life skills and leadership training to enable them to be outstanding professionals and business men and women.
