Justification of the program

The need for a Diploma in Economics and Finance program arises from the growing demand for skilled professionals who can navigate the complexities of global economic systems and financial markets. The goal of the Diploma in Economics and Finance program is to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of economic theory, financial systems, and their real-world applications.  Admission Requirements i.e.,
Holder of the following shall be eligible for admission into the Diploma in Economics and Finance programme:

A holder of aggregate grade of C- (minus) and above in KCSE or a certificate in the relevant field.
                                                       Or

Any other qualification approved by the University Senate.

Duration of the Programme
The duration of the program is Two academic years equivalent to 4 semesters.

By the end of the programme, the graduate should be able to:
