Mr. Mohammed Hassan is an experienced investment banker and skilled financial expert. The Chartered Financial Analyst holds a Master of Science in Finance from the prestigious Strathclyde University, Glasgow, and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Nairobi. He has also undertaken an executive Business program at IESE Spain.
His professional career boasts of an expansive portfolio of responsibilities in the investment sector. He started off as a dealer at Dyer and Blair investment bank rising to the position of Managing Director. He is also the Chairman of the National Bank of Kenya and Kenya National Trading Corporation respectively and has been involved in corporate finance transactions in some of the largest Mergers and Acquisitions and public offers in East Africa.
His experience includes providing expertise in the setting up of private equity funds with a focus on Infrastructure and Energy projects in East Africa. In addition, Mr. Hassan has made notable achievements in the financial markets sector, managing successful Public Market transactions, mergers, and acquisition transactions.
