An accredited Business Advisor with Goldman Sachs of USA and Founder/Lead Consultant of the African Women in Business Advisors Network (AWIBA-Network), Mrs. Gitonga is a Management and Entrepreneurship expert with extensive experience in strategy, marketing, business advisory, performance management, process re-engineering, investor relations, entrepreneurs & coaching and training.
With a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) First class honors from the University of Nairobi, and a Master of Business Administration from Strathmore University, Mrs. Gitonga has had a trailblazing career working in several countries.
With more than 20 years of experience in banking, she has served in leadership roles that involved heading strategic business units in these countries: Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, Burundi, and South Sudan.
Moreover, she has a wealth of experience in the media industry and NGO sectors and sits on the advisory boards of REMU Micro Finance, FEWA SACCO, and Novel Technologies, among others.
