Program Goal
This programme provides adequate training, knowledge and skills to develop solution providers in film, media and the dynamic communications world and ultimately, prepare graduates for progression to higher levels of study in their fields of specialization. This premier program will address film, communications and media professional’s needs, training professionals to operate effectively across both public and private sectors, and competently participate in the film and production industry.

Programme Goals:
- Ensure trainees get practical knowledge they can apply in their work place and come up with new techniques to solve multimedia problems.
- Empower students to establish and develop a viable link between theory/concepts and practice in the field for its proper implementation.
- Produce trainees who are capable of developing media techniques that can be adopted by local media houses and corporate organizations.
- Equip trainees with media literacy skills i.e. be in a position to identify adverts in movies, aesthetic dimensions of film and TV productions etc.
- Enable graduates acquire the knowledge and inspiration necessary to ensure a successful venture into personal business with strong bias in Film.

- Provide production, consultancy and advisory services in a dynamic world of Film production
- Offer accredited and specialized training in the areas of Film and Television Production.
Entry Requirements
- Be a holder of KCSE (or equivalent examination) certificate with a minimum aggregate of C-
- A minimum of C- in English or Kiswahili
OR - Holder of a related certificate with a credit pass from an institution that is recognized by the University Senate
