Hospitality and Tourism Management students from Zetech University had the opportunity to visit Radisson Blu Hotel Nairobi, Upper Hill, for an enriching industry exposure experience. The visit offered students a close-up view of world-class hotel operations, exceptional service delivery, and the evolving standards that define today’s evolving world.

During the tour, students explored key operational areas, gaining firsthand insights into world-class hotel management, service delivery, and the evolving expectations of the contemporary travel and hospitality sector. With guidance from various department representatives, they observed how international standards are translated into everyday processes—from guest reception and room management to culinary artistry and back-of-house coordination. These interactions painted a clear picture of how top hotels maintain consistency, efficiency, and memorable guest experiences.

A special highlight of the visit was an engaging session with Mr. Brian Mwita, the Training and Quality Manager and an Alumni of Zetech University, whose practical insights illuminated the realities of the industry. He offered valuable knowledge on customer experience, front office professionalism, culinary operations, and the core competencies required to thrive in today’s competitive job market. Through such industry visits, Zetech University continues to empower our students with the confidence, exposure, and professional readiness needed to succeed in the fast-growing hospitality and tourism landscape.
