In the spirit of the International Women’s Day celebrations themed Give to Gain, Zetech University proudly flagged off female sports teams as they head to represent the institution at the Kenya Universities Sports Federation Women Championship, a national competition that brings together top female university athletes across Kenya to compete, showcase their talent, and inspire young people through sport.
Sport remains one of the most powerful tools for empowering women and girls worldwide. Yet, despite its potential, many women and girls globally still face significant barriers that limit the development of their skills and opportunities.
Beyond competition, it brings communities together, bridges cultures, and resonates strongly with young people. It creates spaces where women and girls develop confidence, resilience, teamwork, and self-reliance, qualities that extend far beyond the field.
Through the sports scholarship programme offered at Zetech University, the institution continues to support talented and bright student-athletes by providing them with opportunities to pursue their academic ambitions while actively participating in competitive sport. #ZetechExperience
