Zetech University commends the Supreme Court of Kenya for successfully inaugurating the just-concluded Supreme Court of Kenya Moot Court Competition 2025, a landmark initiative that speaks to the evolving landscape of legal education and professional preparation in the country. As a forward-looking centre of legal training, the University recognises the establishment of this competition as an essential mentorship and capacity-building platform that strengthens advocacy, analytical reasoning, and jurisprudential engagement among emerging legal minds.

Zetech University is equally proud to have had the Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) students from the Zetech Law School attend and actively engage with this immersive experience, days after the launch of the programme. Their participation provided an opportunity to observe and interrogate legal practice within a simulated judicial environment, an environment that mirrors the rigor, professionalism, and intellectual discipline expected of future advocates. This exposure, for the first cohort, was not only academically enriching but also transformative, enabling them to broaden their understanding of courtroom procedures, ethical considerations, and the applied dimensions of legal reasoning.

As the first cohort from the Zetech Law School, this represents a significant milestone in the University’s growing footprint in legal education. Their participation on a national stage of such prominence underscores both their emerging potential and the University’s intentional commitment to integrating practical legal exposure early in their academic journey. Through sustained collaboration between academia and industry, Zetech University ensures that learners receive experiential training, access to judicial mentorship, and policy-level insights, empowering them to thrive within a dynamic and evolving legal environment with competence, confidence, and a strong sense of civic duty.
