Zetech University successfully hosted the highly anticipated Career Fair Week 2025 from October 15th to 16th at the Ruiru Campus, under the inspiring theme “The Future is You: Empowering Youth for Global Impact.” The event brought together students, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators in an engaging two-day experience designed to enhance employability, promote innovation, and strengthen industry-academic collaboration.

A key highlight of the fair was the Zepreneurs Showcase, a vibrant exhibition of student innovation and entrepreneurship. Through this platform, students presented creative business ideas and projects, demonstrating Zetech University’s commitment to nurturing not only job seekers but also job creators who are prepared to drive meaningful change in their communities.

The event drew strong participation from students across all faculties and attracted numerous partners and organizations, including Treasure Communications, Dove Mental, CIO Africa, Toutele Agricultural University, SHPICE, St. Francis Hospital, CIC insurance group, and Britam. Their involvement reflected the growing importance of mental well-being, technology, agribusiness, and innovation in the modern career landscape.

Prof. Gabbey Malope, Group CEO of Toutele Academics in South Africa, challenged students to “step away from following trends—start your own trend.” Mr. Francis Mworia, Managing Director of Treasure Communications Ltd and CEO of Treasure Group, urged young innovators to pursue their ventures with boldness and clarity.” Mr. Kennedy Oliver Mwenda, Program Communication Specialist for The Second Kenya Devolution Support Program, encouraged students to “learn to communicate clearly, dress for the role you want next, and be intentional with the company you keep,” while Zetech University Dean of Students, Ms. Elizabeth Muhia, reminded them that “the future is not something we predict; it is something we prepare for.”

The Zepreneurs Awards recognised outstanding student entrepreneurs who showcased creativity, resilience, and impact. Top awardees included:
