The transition from senior school education to higher education is a pivotal stage in youth development. Structured mentorship and post-high school training enhance students’ career preparedness, cognitive flexibility, and social responsibility, fostering adaptive and resilient individuals capable of navigating complex societal and professional contexts.
Zetech University, in partnership with the Kenyatta Trust, officially launched the Post High-School Transition Training and Mentorship Programme for the Class of 2025 ex‐candidates at Technology Park Mang’u Campus. The programme is designed to support students as they navigate the critical transition to higher education. Kenyatta Trust is a non‐profit organisation dedicated to supporting academically gifted students from under-resourced backgrounds through scholarships, mentorship, counselling, community engagement, and empowerment initiatives designed to transform lives and communities.
A cohort of 58 students will engage in a month‐long intensive programme encompassing career guidance, communication and leadership skills,
entrepreneurship, innovation, digital literacy, environmental conservation, and community service. This partnership reflects a holistic approach to youth development, equipping participants not only with technical competencies but also with the critical thinking as they prepare to join Campus. Zetech University is at the forefront of promoting vibrant student life and a culture of excellence, empowering students to achieve their full potential.
