Zetech University was honored to have its faculty invited as guest speakers at the 3rd International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Education, hosted by Kotebe University of Education in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Esther Mwangi, Head of Research at Zetech University, presented on the use of generative AI among students in Kenya, delving into its benefits, challenges, and impact on learning and innovation. Her discussion highlighted AI’s potential to enhance creativity and personalize education while addressing concerns surrounding academic integrity and ethical considerations in AI adoption.

Dr. Benjamin Muindi, Dean of the School of ICT, Media, and Engineering, contributed valuable insights from his work on the "Evidence-Based Utility of Artificial Intelligence for Pedagogy and Practice in African Universities" project. His presentation emphasized the practical applications of AI in higher education, advocating for data-driven strategies to integrate AI responsibly into academic environments.
