According to the American Psychological Association, more than 20% of teens have seriously considered suicide. To mark World Suicide Week, Zetech University students participated in a mental health walk around the Witeithie market on 21st September to create awareness of the rising cases of suicides among young people. At Zetech University we encourage our students to participate in Community Service Programs to enable them to understand the issues affecting the community. The CSR event, organized by the University Counselling Department and The Student Leadership sought to sensitize the community around our Technology Park Mangu Campus on alternate solutions to stem the rising cases of suicides among young Kenyans
